Bank Holiday Runners Raising Money for Charity

Published on May 23rd, 2018

This year’s Folkestone Coastal 10K takes place on Sunday 27th May (during the bank holiday weekend). The event has become a regular fixture and promises to be a great success again, with advance registrations much higher than in previous years. Although pre-registration is recommended it will be possible to enter on the day. In 2017, runners raised £35,000 for good causes.

The main race begins at 10:00, with the start at the entrance to the Lower Leas Coastal Park, close to the Lower Leas Lift station. The route is relatively flat, heading  towards Hythe along the seafront before returning to Folkestone. There is a children’s race at 9.30.

The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust has again provided support to help organise the event.
