Folkestone Churches Winter Shelter Helps Combat Hardship

Published on December 21st, 2015

The Folkestone Churches Winter Shelter project is again helping people in Folkestone who are either homeless or in urgent need of support, with about 200 volunteers working to help provide relief to people who might otherwise sleep rough on the streets of Folkestone. The project has now been running for  six years, and is  managed by Folkestone Rainbow Centre, a charity that helps those who are lonely, isolated, socially excluded or homeless.

The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust has made a donation of £15,000 to support the Rainbow Centre in providing the Winter Shelter in 2015/16.

If you would like to make a donation, volunteer or simply find out more about the project please see Winter Shelter.
