Still Time to Register for Folkestone Coastal 10 Km Run 2015

Published on April 20th, 2015

Registrations from indviduals and teams of runners are now being welcomed for this year’s Folkestone Coastal 10 kilometre run, which returns on Sunday 31 May 2015, starting from the former Rotunda Site on Folkestone seafront. The route takes runners along the flat promenade towards Hythe and back. Any surpluses from the race help support nominated local causes, with the option for runners to choose their own charity if they prefer. Participants’ ages range from 15 to 80, and registrations have been received from as far away as The Netherlands and the USA. The Roger De Haan Charitable Trust is pleased to be supporting the event again in 2015.

Race Organiser and director of main sponsors Independent Insurance Services Ray Johnson said: “I am delighted that already over 150 registrations have been received for this year’s event, but there’s still time to get involved, either as a runner or as a sponsor. Details are available at www.folkestonecoastal10k.co.uk or people can collect an entry form from Independent Insurance Services, 136 Sandgate Road, Folkestone.”
